Tele-therapy

Tele-therapy is a “talk-therapy“ service. I do not provide psychiatry or medication prescription services at this time.

If you meet one of the criteria below, please be aware that we are unable to provide behavioral health services to you at this time.

• Persons who are actively suicidal or homicidal. If you feel you are a danger to yourself or others, please immediately call 911, the National Suicide Prevention Hotline, or go to your local emergency room. The National Suicide Prevention Hotline can be reached at: 1-800-273-8255

• Persons under the age of 18 or under the care of a legal guardian
• Persons currently in a crisis situation
• Persons in need of emergency services, protective services, and/or hospitalization due to severe mental illness
• Persons struggling with substance abuse disorders
• Persons struggling with eating disorders
• Persons currently engaging in self-injurious behaviors such as cutting or burning oneself
• Persons in need of legal assistance, assessment, or mandated by a legal authority to attend psychotherapy. This includes any evaluation or treatment for legal or forensic reasons. Examples include:
o Court-mandated psychological treatment
o Child custody cases
o Evaluations to determine your mental health capacity
o Divorce proceedings
o Treatment as a condition of parole or probation
o Any forensic psychological evaluation to assess competency to stand trial, legal insanity, risk for violence, sexual dangerousness, right to possess a firearm, etc
• Persons in need of Social Security Disability or vocational rehabilitation evaluations
